This privacy policy applies to the Practice in Tune by Alkin Solutions LLC (“Practice in Tune”) websites located at https://www.practiceintune.com and https://app.practiceintune.com (and any affiliated sub-domain and sites, collectively “website”) and the services offered on the website. This privacy policy describes how Practice in Tune collects and uses the personal information you provide on the website. The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which you have engaged Practice in Tune. This privacy policy also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information. This privacy policy agreement does not pertain to protected health information (“PHI”). Our Terms of Service agreement, found at https://www.practiceintune.com/terms, defines the privacy of patient information for registered users (“Customer”).

I. User Controlled Data. Practice in Tune has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes on behalf of Customers. An individual who seeks access to their data should direct his or her inquiry to the Customer. If an individual requests that the Customer remove the individual’s data, it is the Customer’s responsibility to respond.

Practice in Tune will retain personal data they process on behalf of Customers for as long as needed to provide services to Customers. Practice in Tune will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

II. Information Collection. Practice in Tune may collect the following information from Customer: (i) Contact Information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number; (ii) Financial Information such as credit card number, and Tax ID; (iii) Identifiers such as username and password; (iv) Information such as company name and license number. 

Practice in Tune may use this information to: (i) Send you requested service information; (ii) Send product updates; (iii) Respond to customer service requests; (iv) Administer your account; (v) Send  marketing communications when Customers “opt-in”, start a free trial, or sign up; (vi) Improve the platform.

III. Information Sharing. Practice in Tune may share personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. Practice in Tune does not sell personal information to third parties.

(i) Service Providers.

Practice in Tune may provide personal information to companies that provide services to help with business activities.These companies are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide these services. 

(ii) Disclaimer.

Practice in Tune may also disclose personal information: (i) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena; (ii) when believed that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, protect the safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; (iii) if Practice in Tune is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, Practice in Tune may sell or transfer user information as part of any such transaction; (iv) to any third party with Customer prior consent.

(iii) User Access.

If Customer personal information changes they may correct, update, amend, or delete/remove it by logging into Practice in Tune account and making the changes. Practice in Tune will retain information on all active accounts. 

(iv) Opt-out Preferences.

Receiving emails from Practice in Tune is part of the service. When signing up for a Practice in Tune account, account information will be used for communications. 

After Customers have opted in, Practice in Tune may also use Customer’s name and email address to send marketing emails. If Customer no longer wishes to receive marketing emails, you may opt out of them by using the unsubscribe link contained in each email.

IV. Technologies. 

(i) Cookies. 

Practice in Tune uses cookies on the site and within the platform.

If Customer’s reject cookies, they may still use the site, but ability to use some areas of our site will be limited. Practice in Tune does not honor Do Not Track requests. For California Users: Please note that the Website is not presently configured to respond to DNT or “do not track” signals from web browsers or mobile devices.

(i) Analytics / Log Files. 

Certain information may be gathered and stored automatically on the platform. This could include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, etc.

This information is used to analyze trends, to administer the site and platform, to track user movement around the site, and to gather demographic information about the user base as a whole. Practice in Tune may combine this information with personally identifiable information that Customers have provided with information that is publicly available to make our communications more targeted.

Practice in Tune may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the Website and Practice in Tune may utilize third parties to analyze the usage of the Website and Service.

V. Security. When Customers enter sensitive information it is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).Practice in Tune follows generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, Practice in Tune cannot guarantee its absolute security. 

VI. Updates. Practice in Tune may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to information practices. If any material changes are made, Practice in Tune will notify Customer by email or by means of a notice on the website prior to the change becoming effective.
