Is Practice in Tune HIPAA compliant?
Absolutely! Maintaining client confidentiality in a HIPAA compliant manner is our first priority. Practice in Tune encrypts and stores data using Amazon Web Services, a HIPAA compliant provider. All data are also encrypted using SSL in transit and are encrypted at rest. We also offer a BAA that will keep you covered and give you peace of mind.
Can I add multiple team members?
You bet! We know that music therapy business owners are all about bringing more music therapy to the community. That often means growing a team. Our first tiered plan comes with 2 users. We offer additional plans as you scale up from there.
What counts as a user?
A user is any person who you give access to Practice in Tune. This could be another music therapist, a practicum student or intern, or an administrative assistant.
What do you mean when you say "personalized session notes"?
Practice in Tune can pull active goals and objectives for any client or facility. As you write your notes, you can choose to use a written summary, SOAP note, percentage scale, or rating scale format to document your sessions.
How do I get started with Practice in Tune?
Practice in Tune is in the final stages of development and will be launched in early 2021. The best way to get started is to get on our email list here. This way you can be the first to sign up! We will offer a 30 day free trial and information import for all our founding customers.
Is there a limit to the number of clients that I add?
No. We want music therapy to GROW in your community so the sky is the limit when adding clients and facilities to the program. In Practice in Tune, clients can be marked as active or inactive so you see exactly what you need to see when working inside the software.
How do I take payments from my clients?
Practice in Tune offers integration via Stripe. Once you have activated this integration, client credit card details can be stored securely via Stripe (We never see this info). If you have this feature activated, the card will be automatically charged when you send an invoice to a family. Stripe sees only name and card information – no other information about the client.
What browser should I use to access Practice in Tune?
We recommend Safari, Chrome or Firefox. Other browsers do not work as well with Practice in Tune.
